TRREB Donates $1 Million Dollars to the Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation
One of TRREB’s proudest contributions is to the Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation (ORCF). Each year, our TRREB Members donate $1 per member per month in support of shelter-based charities.
We heard from the most vulnerable about the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has inflicted. Accordingly, TRREB donated an additional $278,000 in ORCF emergency grants to GTA food banks and shelter-based charities. This supplemented the $713,000 that TRREB already donated in 2019, increasing TRREB’s total charitable support in the last 12 months to almost $1 million dollars!

- Moving to the new century provides an opportunity to see where TRREB is today. Key TRREB statistics for 2019 included:
- 300 dedicated committee volunteers
- More than 107,000 Members in attendance for virtual education sessions, with more than 122,000 Members attending professional development courses in total
- More than 300,000 phone calls for help desk, member services, and other assistance
- More than 194 million social media impressions across 17 channels and 8,500 traditional media mentions
- In 2019, REALTOR® QUEST saw a 25 per cent increase in attendance, with more than 10,000 registrants and 275 trade show exhibitors
- A total of 138 Members are inducted into the 50 Year Club
