Every year, a new face adorns the TRREB presidential portrait wall. To be the President of Canada’s largest real estate board is an industry honour, a personal achievement, and a commitment to the profession and the public. The leadership and vision of each President has made TRREB the vibrant and diverse organization that it is today.
Did you know?
- In 2018, TRREB made sold data available to Members for use on their Virtual Office Websites following a seven year legal matter with the Competition Bureau where TRREB strongly advocated for consumer digital and privacy rights.
- In 2020, TRREB provided guidance and best practices to Members during the COVID-19 pandemic. Board offices were closed to visitors following City of Toronto and Province of Ontario health guidelines
- In February 2020, the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2020 passed Third Reading in the Ontario legislature with unanimous support. This legislation permits personal real estate corporations for salespeople and brokers, which TRREB has advocated since 2005. Regulations allowing personal real; estate corporations came into effect on October 1, 2020
