  • Toronto’s REALTORS® joined the computer age on May 14, 1984, when the online MLS® System went live. After 2.5 years of deliberations, research and a $300,000 investment, about 13,000 brokers could subscribe to the new system for $40 a month per terminal. The system began operations with 30,000 current listings and two years of historical listings (Globe and Mail, March 2, 1984)
