The most central piece of promotion in the real estate industry is the simple real estate ad. They haven’t changed much over the years – in fact, if you simply removed the prices from these postings from the 1970s, they could be mistaken for today’s ads.

  • In 1999, TRREB committed $1 million towards the purchase of a permanent residence for homeless families as an initiative of the Board’s Homeless Task Force (Globe and Mail, June 17, 1999)
  • Also during 1970–2000, TRREB received increased coverage in multicultural media as the diversity of the membership grew. Incoming presidents spoke second or third languages and spoke to the multicultural media directly. Articles in Corriere Canadese, Sing Tao, and others were commonplace
